Although there is no physics problem with the eye looking forward. They just painted it on the top of the sphere. It could just as easily be painted on the side.

they're the Armies of Middle Earth little LOTR thingies, at most specialty shops flooding the pegs, even Wal-Mart here has 'em, I think

<font size="2" face="Verdana, Helvetica, sans-serif">Slappy, these are from the Armies of Middle Earth collection. More specifically, the dragon riding ringwraith is the one that comes with the galloping horse (there are 3 versions of ringwraiths on horses). The galloping horse version works best.

Do i have to do all your thinking for you? Crack open the outer casing (oh, do this in the sink suz there's liquid in there...) and just take out the eye-ball.
